I was very exiting when I got this film today, I've been waiting for it for a long time. This is Andy Warhol's first film I've ever seen, I'm usually not comfortable watching male genital in the movies, but Little Joe is really too gorgeous, I had to make a exception, and the movie is not about gay anyway, just a guy who needs some "bread". so I felt ok watching it, just the sound while switching scenes was very annoying.
In my opinion, he is one of the most famous Warhol's victims, and his character in Serge Gainsbourg's "Je t'aime moi non plus(1976)" is another one of his roles which are not for normal actors to play. He really sacrificed his body for art.
I saw him recently appeared at Berlinale Film Festive, he is getting old still looks gorgeous as he used to be.
I can't imagine how different would his carrier be, if he chose doing mainstream!
Respect!
