It also marks Quintel’s first project for the company since his Emmy-winning work on Cartoon Network’s long-runningRegular Show. TBS has ordered 13 episodes ofClose Enough, which is slated to launch next year.Close Enoughis asurreal take on transitioning from 20-something to 30-something.The show centers on a married couple juggling such everyday challenges as parenthood, friendship, ham theft, stripper clowns and choosing the right day care.On the animation front,Close Enoughjoins TBS’s iconic hitAmerican Dad!, from Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman, which will return with new episodes this summer;The Cops, a buddy comedy created by and starring Louis C.K. and Albert Brooks;Tarantula,a dark comedy about the residents of a seedy hotel from Carson Mell, scheduled to launch this year; andFinal Space, an interstellar comedy created by independent filmmaker, actor, comedian and entrepreneur Olan Rogers.Here’s a teaserfor all of the aforementioned shows from TBS.
