As the sequel to perhaps one of the best comedy in recent history, Anchorman 2 has a lot to live up to, and ultimately, it is more of a miss than a hit. There are sincerity in some of the jokes, especially the one abut the "lady killers", but the majority of them are more awkward than funny. Anchorman 2 still features some of the characters that we have loved over the years, but the cast do feel older and more tiring in general. It would have been better for the legacy of the film if this was never made, but then again, there is this great scene towards the end of the film that would only happen in such a storied franchise.
