Shivani landed a job on an Italian TV series even though she did not speak a word of Italian. She was put into an intensive schedule where she studied the language alongside shooting. within 4 weeks she was comfortably acting in Italian. She shot 26 episodes altogether. The series started airing on Rai Uno March 2007. Most people had no idea that she couldn't speak the language previous to shooting.
