Born in France on August 22, 1926. Was most famous as the Head Fashion Designer for Christian Dior. When Yves Saint Laurent (the previous Head Fashion Designer) was called for military duty in 1960, Marc Bohan took over, remaining until Gianfranco Ferré became designer in 1989.
